Truancy Online - New Zealand

For use by Shop or business owner, Truancy Officer, Police Officer, Maori Warden, Security Officer or concerned citizen:

If you suspect that you have seen a truant student, please use the form below to report this student to their school's Attendance Officer who will advise on appropriate action. Use the "Select a School" menu to find the appropriate region (in red) then select the appropriate school to send your message to (all in alphabetical order).

If you do not know the name of the school or it is not listed, just select the region closest to you and the CEPNZ will forward it on. NOTE: Your details will remain confidential between the CEPNZ and the school.

For schools in the Rodney district, please click here for their reporting system.
For schools in the Waitakere region, please click here
For schools in the Whangarei region, please click here.

If you are aware of a regular "hang-out" of truant children, please email the CEPNZ with as much information as possible and we will follow up with local authorities and schools.
